What reminded the British of 1857 – Bombay Mutiny of 1946

India got its freedom on 15 th of August 1947 and the sole credit for this gigantic feat goes to the persistent and unflinching passive resistance spearheaded by Mr Gandhi and his dear Mr Nehru. But as a matter of fact the Britishers were not so done with their hunger for exploitation neither the passive resistance was something unknown to them.
